THE RINGING
TONE AND DETECTION
OF THE
RINGING TONE
The ringing tone signal, upon being input from the telephone
line (CN901 ), enters IC901.
The output of IC901 is input to pin 24 (ring) of IC401.
IC401 judges that the signal has arrived and beings signal
arrival operation.
The handset ringing tone, in synchronization
with pin 24 (ring)
of IC401, sends the data from pin 6 (TX data) to the handset.
Data from the base station is input to pin 8 (RX data) of the
handset's ICOO1.
Pin 10 (buzzer) of ICOO1 outputs the ringing tone signal.
The ringing tone signal causes Q690 to switch and make
the buzzer.
SUMMARY
OF SECURITY
CODE REGISTRATION
Setting
the channel
and the secure
code.
{Adjust
the
frequency of the base station and handset to the I.D. (secure
code).}
Charge detection
Set the handset onto the base station's charger.
Power is supplied
to the handset
from the base station's
charger terminal.
Then, the "High" signal is input to pin 40
(charge) of ICOO1.
By placing the handset on the base station's charger, Q904
comes on and inputs the "Low" signal to pin 24 (charge) of
IC401 .
IC401 detects the "Low" signal the CHARGE
LED comes
on.
The handset sends data to the base station. This data is
output from pin 26, 27 (TX data) of ICOOI, goes through the
TX VCO circuit (composed
of Q253), amplifiers
Q252, and
is finally sent to the base station.
When the initial
setting is
used
By placing the handset onto the base station's charger, the
charger in the base station and handset is detected. Then,
the "High" and "Low" signals from pin 20 of IC401 (IN USE
LED) cause the IN USE LED to flash on and off.
Data is sent from the handset to the base station. The base
station detects this data and sends the data to the handset,
adjusting the security code.
When the security code has been adjusted, the base station's
IN USE LED comes off.
When the security
code remains
in base station
Place the handset on the base station's charger.
The base station's CHARGE LED comes on.
When the "PAGE" key on the base station is pushed, the IN
USE LED begins to flash and IC401 detects the handset's
data.
Data is sent from the handset to the base station, and the
base station detects this data, sends the base's data, it to
the handset and adjusts the security code.
The base station's IN USE LED comes off when the security
code has been adjusted.
The beep tone signal is output from the handset speaker.

&
THE DIAL SIGNAL
When using the tone (DTMF signal)
When a dial button is pushed, data is send to the base station
from pin 26,27 (TX data) of ICOOI.
The data which is sent from the handset comes at pin 4 (RX
data) of IC401.
When IC401 detect the data, sends the DTMF signal into
the TEL-LINE through Q701, Q702 and T901.
When using the pulse
When a dial button
is
pushed, data is send to the base station
from pin 26, 27 (TX data) of ICOO1.
The data sent from the handset is input to pin 4 (RX data) of
IC401 .
After which the 'rHigh" and "Low" signals are output from pin
19 (relay) of IC401. Q905 is then turned on and off.
Q905's going on and causes the relay switch (RY901 ) to go
'~
on and off causes the pulse signal to be sent into the TEL-
LINE.
