  • Page 17 To connect the mains adapter to the phone, you must have installed the battery. 1. With the arrow facing you as shown in the diagram push the plug on the battery adapter into the socket on the bottom of the phone until it clicks into place.

    1. Install a battery to the handset and connect the phone to an external power source such as the travel adapter, cigarette lighter adapter or hands- free car kit. Or install a charged battery pack to the handset. 2. Press and hold E for a few seconds until the LCD screen is turned on.
