The
M6809
Cross
Assemble~1
RASM09,
translates
these source
statement~
into
object programs.
RASM09
is the resident macro
assembler
for
MDOS09.
If
programs
are
assembled
using the relocatable
option,
the
Linking Loader is required to create a File
that
can be loaded from diskette by the
M6809
Simulator.
The
M6809
Cross
Assembler
is
invoked
from the MDOS
command line as are other MDOS commands;
howeve~,
the
Macro
Assembler requiTes that
the
system has a minimum of
32~
bytes
of memory.

default
values of "SA" and "0"
are
used if <suffix> and
<logical unit number)

explicitly
entered.
Up
to
twenty file names can be accommodated by the assembler.
The
<options~
may be one or more of the options listed
in the
following
table.
All
options
except
those
that
control
the
destination
of
the
source
listing,
the
destination of the obJect file,
and
the
printing
or
error
messages
on
the
printer
if
no listing is desired,
can be
specified
from
within
the
source
program
with
the
OPT
directive.
Certain
options
are
automatically
used
as
a
default condition.
These
conditions
can
be
reversed
or
overridden
by
preceding the option letter with a minus sign
(-).
