Using the Mobile App

Setting the App on the Smartphone or Tablet PC.

Install the "Sharp AudioCentral Remote" App from the Apple Store or Google Play.
Turn on SD-WH1000U and go to "HOME" .

Start the application.
Follow the instructions on the screen to register the Player. App will automatically begin searching for player
connected to
the same network as mobile device.
• When the icon of your named player appears, select by tapping the icon. Enter Login credentials established during
"IP Control Setup" .
App will begin "Initial Setup" . This may take up to several minutes. This is normal. Do not exit App during Initial
Setup.
• When Mobile App is not able to detect, return to "Searching" icon again.
Tap "Add audio player" icon in that case.
• Tap "ADD" icon after input each item.
• Tap "OK" icon after display "Connected to audio player successfully" .
The setting of Mobile App have been completed.
• After this, the connection is done automatically when you select SD-WH1000U
from the screen of Mobile App. And then you can enjoy the playback of music.
NOTE
• The screen may be changed depending on the software version.
• If folder/file names contain symbols such as "*:/<>?\¥|`&,$.- and/or non-
alphanumeric characters, those names may not be correctly displayed in
Mobile App or on the front panel display on the player, and consequently
the files may not be played back. In such case, rename the folder/file before
attempting to play it.
• Symbols and alphanumeric characters allowed in folder and file names:
!#%'()+0123456789;=@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[]^_
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{}~
Playback of music file
• Please select the function which equipment of playback is connected from Source in the screen of Mobile App.
• The application allow to display the music list per album or artist. The playback start when you tap the music you want to
listen.
• When you tap the icon of remote control in Mobile App, you can use smartphone, tablet PC as the remote controller, such
as Disc playback.
