    5. Installation instructions 5.1 Installation of outdoor unit 5.1.1 Connection of pipes Coat the flaring seal face with refrigerant oil. To bend a pipe, give the roundness as large as possible not to crash the pipe. To connect a pipe, fit the centers and tighten the nut hand tight, then use spanner of torque wrench to tighten it.

  • Page 38 Installation Procedure efrigerant piping Vacuum pumping With a vacuum pump, create vacuum from the stop valve of the outdoor unit. l Emptying with refrigerant sealed in the outdoor unit is absolutely forbidden. Open all valves Open all the valves on the outdoor unit. Gas leakage detection Check with a leakage detector or soap water that if there is gas leakage at the pipe connections and bonnets.
  • Page 39 Installation Procedure Electric wiring ! Warning The electric wiring work shall be conducted by qualified electricians according to the installation instructions. A separate power circuit shall be used. Insufficient power cord amperage or improper wiring will cause danger of electric shock or fire. During wiring connection, the power cord shall be of the specified cable and reliably fastened so that external forces applied to the cable wouldnt transfer to the terminals.
