4. Wash Mugs. Canisters, Coffee Filter, Coffee Filter Assembly
and Lid in warm, soapy water. All of these items may be
washed in the dishwasher with the exception of the coffee
filter. The coffee filter must be washed by hand. Do not use
abrasive cleansers. Dry each item thoroughly before storing.
5. Wipe outside of unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleansers. To protect against electrical hazards,
avoid cleaning in or around power cord recec-tade area.
6. The inside of the unit is aluminum which may discolour. This
will not affect the performance of your unit. To cfean inside
of unit, fill with 16 oz/454 ml of water and dissolve one table
spoon of cream of tartar. Bring to boil and boil for 3 to
5 minutes. Unplug unit, rinse thoroughly and dry.
7. Other than cleaning, no other maintenance is required. Any
servicing of this appliance should be performed by an
authorized Philips Service Centre.
