To change specific prompts, go to Step 6.
To change all prompts one after another without reviewing the current recording, go to Step 7.
6.
To change specific prompts:
a)
Press [1]
b)
Enter the prompt number you want to change.
c)
The VPS plays the prompt number and its prompt. If a prompt has not yet been recorded,
the VPS plays the system prompt. If a prompt is turned off, "The prompt is now turned off"
will play before the prompt.
d)
Press [1] to record a new prompt.
Note
e)
Record a prompt after the tone and press [1] to end recording.
f)
Press [2] to accept the recorded prompt.
g)
Repeat steps 6b to 6f to record other prompts.
7.
To change all prompts one after another:
a)
Press [2]
b)
Enter the prompt number you want to change.
c)
The VPS announces the prompt number.
d)
Press [1] to change the prompt.
e)
Record a prompt after the tone and press [1] to end recording.
f)
Press [2] to accept the recorded prompt.

Press [2] to erase the current recording—Return to Step 6b.
(This is not available when the selected prompt is currently turned on and not
recorded, or when the selected prompt has never been recorded and is currently
turned off in Utility by the System Administrator.)
Press [3] to turn off the specified prompt—Return to Step 6b.
Press [4] to accept—Return to Step 6b.
Erased prompts can be restored if they were backed up using KX-TVM Maintenance
Console (refer to 1.8.2 Utility—System Back Up in Programming Manual).
For KX-TVM50: You can restore the original system prompts included with the KX-
TVM50 using the included CD-ROM.
For KX-TVM200: The original system prompts included with the KX-TVM200 are
retained in the hard disk drive and are restored automatically when the current prompt
is erased.
Press [1] to review the recorded prompt.
Press [3] to erase the recorded prompt and try again—Return to Step 6e.
Press [ ] to erase the recorded prompt and exit—Return to Step 6b.
Press [2] to go to Step 7g.
Press [3] to turn off the prompt.
Press [1] to review the recorded prompt.
Press [3] to erase the recorded prompt and try again—Return to Step 7e.
Press [ ] to erase the recorded prompt and exit—Go to Step 7g.
