HANDSET
1. Connect the handset cord into the HANDSET jack.
2. Connect the telephone line to the LINE jack using the line cord.
The SFX-33 should
not share a modular
jack with other communication
equipment,
as this may obstruct
the proper functioning
of the unit.
3. Connect AC plug into AC outlet.
The AC outlet must be located near the unit and easily accessible.
4. Connect an extension telephone or answering machine to the SFX-33 through the line plug.
Another telephone or answering machine can be connected to the SFX-33.
NOTE:
The operation of this equipment on the same line as telephones or other equipment with
audible warning devices or automatic ring detectors will give rise to bell tinkle or noise and
may cause false tripped of the ring detector. Should such problems occur, the user is not to
contact Telecom Faults Service.
