• Unwind the antenna cable from the AM antenna unit only the length needed.
• The wires of the AM antenna have no polarity. You can connect either wire to the AM jack or GND jack. If
you connect the GND jack to a commercially-available ground bar or copper plate with a vinyl-covered wire
and bury this new attachment in moist ground, you can reduce noise. Do not connect the GND jack to the
ground socket of an AC wall outlet.
