If the pages are equal to the number you
have entered, it starts to dial and transmit
them, otherwise, the following message
appears, you should press "Stop" key, and
back to step 1, transmit again.
7.3.4 Setting DEFAULT TX
This function is used to set the default TX mode of the fax unit. Two operations are
available:
Choices Available
Memory TX
ADF TX (Direct
Transmission)
1. Press the Utility key 4 times then the display
appears the message "TX OPERATION".
2. Press "5" of Numeric keys. Then the following
message appears briefly to confirm your
selection.
3. Press ◄ or ► key to select MEM. TX or
ADF TX as the default setting.
It means that you want to transmit 12 pages,
but the machine only scanned 11 pages.
Description
When set in this mode, documents are scanned into memory
for transmission and dialing starts after the first page is
scanned (Quick TX).
When set in this mode, documents are scanned for
transmission after connection has been made to the receiving
unit. (When the available memory is insufficient, please select
ADF TX for a successful transmission)
If line is not available, the message "LINE IS BUSY" will be
displayed. The facsimile will retry based on the number of
redial attempts and intervals that were preset.
