Enabling the Suspend Switch

You can configure your MobilePro to power on or off by simply
opening or closing the display cover. The suspend switch acts as a
switch for both the power and the display panel.
With the suspend switch enabled:
Opening the MobilePro powers on the unit. To power on the unit

while it is open, use the Power button.
Closing the MobilePro powers off the unit and insures that the

backlight is off as well.
Follow these steps to enable the suspend switch.
Tap Start, Settings, then select Control Panel.

Double tap the MobilePro Settings icon to launch the dialog box.

Be sure to select the "LCD Suspend/Resume" tab.
Select either "Enable suspend while on Battery Power" or "Enable

MobilePro will not automatically suspend during synchronization unless
the battery charge is at a very low status. You may want to connect
your MobilePro to an AC power source before synchronizing with your
