Setting Lock
Setting Lock lets you set a password to stop
other people from accidentally changing your
machine's settings.
Make a careful note of your password. If you
forget it, you will have to reset the passwords
stored in the machine. Contact your
administrator or Brother customer service.
While the Setting Lock is On, you cannot
access the machine's settings.
(For MFC models only)
Machine settings cannot be changed through
the Remote Setup utility while Setting Lock is
On.

Press All Settings.

Swipe up or down, or press a or b to
display General Setup.

Press General Setup.

Swipe up or down, or press a or b to
display Setting Lock.

Press Setting Lock.

Enter a four-digit number for the new
password using the Touchscreen's
keyboard.
Press OK.
h
Enter the new password again when the
Touchscreen displays Verify:.
