General Installation
Attaching another line expansion unit to the Remote Unit (KX-TD198) and install
them to the system.
1.
Remove the front cover of the Remote Unit. Set the MODE switch to 2 only.

Attach the expansion unit to the Remote Unit as shown below. Be sure to connect the
cabinet cords by inserting the expansion unit cabinet cord through the slot in the Remote
Unit.

Remove the cover plate and connect the cabinet cord to the connector in the main unit
firmly.
