Repeat steps 5 and 6 to enter the rest of
the name.
To change a character
Press TCURSOR or CURSORt
repeatedly until the character to be changed
flashes, press CLEAR to erase the character,
then repeat steps 5 and 6.

Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labelling procedure.
The station name is stored in the system
memory.
To cancel labelling
Press MENU/NO.
To check the station name
Press DISPLAY.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes as follows:
t Station name t Preset Equalizer name
Volume T Clock T
To erase the name
1 Repeat steps 1 to 4.
2 Press CLEAR repeatedly to erase the name.
3 Press ENTER/YES.

Falling asleep to music
— Sleep Timer
You can set the system to turn off after a certain
time, so that you can fall asleep to music. You can
preset the time to turn off in 10 minutes
increments.
SLEEP
, Press SLEEP.
Each time you press the button, the minute
display (the turn-off time) changes as
follows:
t SLEEP OFF t AUTO
10min T ... T 80min T 90min T
If you select "AUTO"
The system turns off after about 4 hours.
The system also turns off automatically when the
current CD or MD finishes playing.
To check the turn-off time
Press SLEEP once.
To change the time to turn off
Select the time you want by pressing SLEEP.
To cancel the Sleep Timer
function
Press SLEEP repeatedly until "SLEEP OFF"
appears.
Tip
You can use the Sleep Timer, even if you have not set
the clock.
Note
Do not set to "AUTO" during CD-MD Synchro
Recording.
