Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Remove the top cover
3.
Remove the thermal sensor
4.
Remove the memory modules
5.
Remove the hard drive
6.
Remove the hard drive cable
7.
If your model is an EliteDesk 800 G3, remove the secondary fan
models only) on page
8.
Remove the drive cage
9.
Remove the fan
10.
Remove the heat sink
11.
Remove the solid-state drive (if installed)
12.
Remove the WLAN module (if installed)
13.
Remove the option board (if installed)
14.
Remove the three Torx screws (1) that secure the system board to the computer.
15.
Lift the system board out of the computer (2).
