Removing the clamp bracket
(MH, WH, E)

9 Do not tamper or attempt to open the
shock absorber.
9 Do not subject the shock absorber to an
open flame or any other source of high
heat. High heat can cause an explosion
due to excessive gas pressure.
9 Do not deform or damage the shock
absorber. If the shock absorber is dam-
aged, damping performance will suffer.
1. Fully tilt the outboard motor up, and then
support it with the tilt stop lever 1.
2. Remove the tilt pin 2, anode 3, and
clamp bracket bolt 4.
