Update
Item : Select the item for update.
- PTZ PROTOCOL : Select to PTZ PROTOCOL
update.
- SYSTEM S/W : Select to SYSTEM S/W update.
Method : Select the update method.
- USB : When you update from USB memory stick.
- NETWORK : Update from the update server.
Update Server : If you select the Method option to
NETWORK, enter the IP address of an update
server using the virtual keyboard for network
update.
Update : Select [Update] tab to start update.
Notes :
• If you can not update from the update server, check
the TCP/IP options and the IP address of update
server.
• If you use USB memory stick for update, you must
disconnect the other external USB devices.
Configuration
Configuration Import : Import the DVR's configu-
ration data from the USB memory stick.
Configuration Export : Export the configuration
data from this DVR to the USB memory stick.
Factory Default : You can reset the DVR to its
original factory settings. Some options cannot be
reset (Date, Time, Daylight saving, Time zone and
User password settings).
Notes :
• Configuration data import is available when the
configuration data of a DVR is same kind of this
unit's data.
• If you use USB memory stick for configuration
export, you must disconnect the other external USB
devices.
Hard Disk
Format : Initializes the HDD (Hard Disk Drive). All
data on the HDD will be erased.
Overwrite :
- ALL : Overwrite recording is possible when the
normal partition and event partition of HDD have
fully recorded.
- NORMAL PARTITION : Overwrite recording is
possible for Normal Partition of HDD when the
normal partition of HDD has fully recorded.
- EVENT PARTITION : Overwrite recording is pos-
sible for Event Partition of HDD when the Event
partition of HDD has fully recorded.
- OFF : Do not use overwriting.
Full Warning : When the HDD has overflowed
rather than setting space of HDD, the warning mes-
sage is displayed.
Event Partition : Set the space of event partition
for event recording.
Note :
If you change the value of Event Partition, the current
recorded data of HDD is deleted and reset the parti-
tion. The partitions will be formatted automatically
and restart system.
