    2. Press and hold the Power/Lock button on top of your phone to turn it on.  If your phone is activated, it will turn on, and show some setup instructions.  If your phone is not yet activated, see Activate Your Phone for more information.

    Tip: Do not press the Power/Lock button while the phone is being activated. Pressing it cancels the activation process. Note: If you are having any difficulty with activation, contact Sprint Customer Service by calling 1-888-211-4727 from any other phone. Complete the Setup Application After activation and any required updates, your phone should power off and then back on again.

    3. When prompted to enter information, touch Dialpad to bring up the onscreen dialpad to enter your numeric responses. 4. Once you have completed the setup process return to the voicemail page (see step 1). 5. Touch the Welcome to Voicemail message on the screen to play a brief explanation of the voicemail services.

    When you place an emergency 911 call, the GPS feature of your phone seeks information to calculate your approximate location. Depending on several variables, including availability and access to satellite signals, it may take up to 30 seconds or more to determine and report your approximate location.

    Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If your battery level becomes too low, your phone automatically turns off, and you will lose any information you were just working on. Always use a Sprint-approved or Motorola desktop charger, travel charger, or vehicle power adapter to charge your battery.

    Location Settings My Location Your phone is equipped with a Location feature for use in connection with location-based services. The Location feature allows the network to detect your position. Turning Location off will hide your location from everyone, except 911.
