    Installation Environment The OceanStor virtual intelligent storage 6000 series virtual intelligent storage system (hereinafter referred to as the VIS6000 ) includes two products: VIS6300 and VIS6600. The VIS6600 is superior to the VIS6300 in hardware configuration and has more powerful capability of processing services. Unless otherwise specified, this document takes the VIS6000 with the AC power as an example.

With full configuration, the VIS6000 can be configured with six port modules: ●Two FC port modules + four GE port modules ●Four FC port modules + two GE port modules ●Six GE port modules The VIS6000 provides ten interface cards with five on each side.

    Connecting Power Cable (AC Power ) Before connecting the power cables, ensure that all power switches are closed. Please use the AC power cables in the material list of the VIS6000. All power cables are wired on the left of the rear of the cabinet (when the power socket is on the right, lead the power cable that is plugged into the right socket to the left of the cabinet by using the wiring slot).
