TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter describes the troubleshooting related to online module change.
4.1

Error Processing and Recovery Methods

This section describes how errors are processed and informed, and how to recover from the errors if there is an abnormality
in online module change. For the errors relating to online module change, perform a check according to the type of error in the
description below.
Errors relating to online module change
For the errors relating to online module change, perform a check with 'Online module change error flag' (SM1618) and 'Online
module change error code' (SD1618).
If an error relating to online module change has occurred, 'Online module change error flag' (SM1618) turns on. The LED
status does not change at this time. To check the detection of an error of online module change with the LED status, use an
*1
annunciator.
For the cause of the error, check the value stored in 'Online module change error code' (SD1618). For details
on the error codes to be stored, refer to the following.

*1 Remote head modules have no annunciators.
Errors relating to an operation from the outside
For the errors relating to an operation from the outside during online module change, perform a check with 'Online module
changing disable request flag' (SM1619) and 'Online module changing disable request error code' (SD1619).
If an error relating to an operation from the outside during online module change has occurred, 'Online module changing
disable request flag' (SM1619) turns on. For the cause of the error, check the value stored in 'Online module changing disable
request error code' (SD1619). For details on the error codes to be stored, refer to the following.
