5.1

Connecting the appliance

5.1.1
Installing the appliance
The installation area must be firm, clean and level.
Parquet floors and soft floor coverings (e.g. carpets or
floor coverings with foam backing) are not suitable.
Attach supplied slide plates (mat. no. 661827) to the floor with double-
sided adhesive tape. Wet slide plates with a mixture of water and
washing up liquid. Do not use oil or grease!
Align the adjustable feet exactly! The height of the feet must not
exceed 15 mm (thread length) and the lock nuts must be tightened.
To adjust the appliance to a working height of 90 cm, a built-under
base can be purchased from sales:
Siemens: WZ20470, Bosch: WMZ20470, Neff: Z7090X0
Attach appliance feet with retaining pockets: 080451 (WX975600).
The washer-dryer must not touch the side walls of the installation
recess!

5.1.3
Water supply
The water connection (¾ inch) requires a conventional water line with
a water pressure between 50–900 kPa (0.5–9 bar). When the tap is
turned on, the water flow rate must be more than 8 l/min. If the water
pressure is higher, a pressure-reducing valve must be used.

Tighten plastic screw connections by hand only!
5.1.4
Aqua Stop version (optional)
The Aqua-Stop on delivery is approx. 220 cm long. It can be extended
by 250 cm with the Aqua-Stop extension (mat. no. 670596) to an
overall length of approx. 4 m.
The Aqua Stop valve may be connected only as illustrated in the
diagram. The Aqua Stop valve may be connected in protection area 1,
but not in the water. In this case the socket must be in protection
area 3 or higher and fused with a 30 mA FI circuit breaker.
5.1.5
Water outlet
The drain hose may be extended to max. 4 m (order number: 432060
220 cm), but only if the hose is lying flat on the floor and has no more
than one connection.
