Cleaning and care

Oven interior

When cleaning the back of the oven
cavity, make sure that nothing gets
caught behind the seals around the
steam inlet and outlet. Otherwise the
seals could get pushed into the back
panel by mistake.
After prolonged use, the floor heater
can become discoloured by drops of
liquid.
 Remove:
– condensate using a sponge or
absorbent cloth,
– light, greasy soiling with a sponge
and a solution of washing-up liquid
and hot water.
 After cleaning, wipe the surface with
a damp cloth to remove any cleaning
agent residues.
 Then dry the oven interior and the
inside of the door with a cloth.
Replace the door seal with a new one
if it becomes porous or brittle. Door
seals can be ordered from the Miele
Spare Parts Department (see the end
of this booklet for contact details).
