Error Messages
Meaning
• Database is damaged.
• The player is connected
to software other than
CONNECT Player.
You pressed the LINK
button when no track was
playing.
You are trying to remove
a track from a Bookmark
list when any track in the
track list is not shown
with .
There is a system error.
You have tried to play a
Bookmark List to which
no tracks have been
added.
The player does not have
the information necessary
to use the Initial search
feature.
The track you are trying
to add to the Bookmark
List has already been
added to that list.
The track you are trying
to add to a Trash Bin has
been already added to the
Trash Bin.
Corrective action
 Connect the player only
to CONNECT Player.
 A track must be playing
when you press the
LINK button.
 You can remove a track
from a Bookmark List
only while that list is
playing.
 Write down the
number, and consult
your nearest Sony
dealer.
 You cannot play a
Bookmark List that has
no tracks. Add at least
one track to the
Bookmark List.
 Connect the player to
CONNECT Player to
transfer track
information.
 A track cannot be
added to the same
Bookmark List twice.
 You cannot add the
same track to the Trash
Bin twice.
