An odor may be present when the appliance is used for the first time, but it will dissipate during use.

Start cooking
1 Insert the inner pot in the main unit.
Connect the main unit plug into the

top frame, and main unit plug.
Be sure to attach the cartridge and heat sink. (Not
doing so may cause steam to leak, resulting in a burn.)
If the cartridge, heat sink, and tank are not attached, the
lid cannot be closed.
