If you remove the pan from the induction hotplate when in use, the display (8) shows "H-
E0" and a beeper sounds every 4 seconds. After around 45 seconds, the beeper stops
and only "E0" is displayed. The fan carries on running for up to a minute before the
appliance switches off. The display (8) of the corresponding heating zone (1, 3)
continues to show "H" as long as the surface temperature of the heating zone (1, 3) is
greater than 60 °C. If the temperature drops below 60 °C, the display (8) of the
heating zone (1, 3) shows "C".
The only way to hide the "H" and "C" symbols from the display (8) is by disconnecting
the product from the mains or by switching the induction hotplate on again.
After switching on, the default power setting is 5 for the left heating zone (1) and 4 for
the right heating zone (3).
1.
Connect the induction hotplate to a live mains socket using the power cable (2). A beeper then
sounds and the display (8) of the heating zone (1, 3) shows "C" or "H" depending on the
temperature.
2.
Place a pan on one of the heating zones (1, 3).
Warning about property damage
The pan must be explicitly suitable for induction hotplates. Do not use any other pans
(e.g. ceramic ones).
Note the maximum weight-bearing capacity of the induction hotplate (be especially
careful when preparing soups and stews). The weight of both cooking vessels and the
contents together must not exceed 10 kg.
3.
Press the On/Off button
reads "ON".
4.
Press the function button
heating zone (1) and 4 for the right heating zone (3).
When it is running, the cooler fan is also running and the induction hotplate can hum slightly
when cooking. This is not a malfunction.
5.
Use the rotary controller (5 or 6) to set the power level required or press the function button
to display the cooking temperature on the display (8) and adjust it using the rotary controller (5
or 6).
Risk of burns!
Do not touch the heating zone (1, 3) contact surface a cooking vessel has previously been
standing on. After the cooking vessel is removed, the heating zone (1, 3) cooking surface can
still be very hot.
