3.2 TLS for Standard SIP Extensions
R1.8 introduces the option to use the TLS protocol for securing signaling between Standard SIP
extensions and the SL2100.
This can also be used in conjunction with the NAT Traversal feature to give an externally connected SIP
terminal a secure connection over public networks to the PBX.
This feature covers:
•
TLS (Transport Layer Security) for STD SIP extension signaling
•
RTP Packets can be encrypted using SRTP
