The guide provides instructions to setup with a preconfigured IED, however, it is also useful for the customized version of the IED.

This tool enables to read and modify the settings in the IED, and to view the events register, Digital fault recorder (oscillography), and other monitoring tasks.

The computer system and the IED should be configured to communicate correctly because both will be available on the same network.

Each IED has an RJ-45 Ethernet interface connector on the front. The front Ethernet connector is recommended to be used for communication with PCM600. When an Ethernet-based station protocol is used, PCM600 communication can use the same Ethernet port and IP address.
