TROUBLESHOOTING
Below is a list of some of the possible malfunctions.
If the problem cannot be resolved as described, contact Customer Services.
PROBLEM
The co ee is not hot.
The co ee is weak or not creamy
enough.
The co ee is delivered too slowly or a
drop at a time.
Co ee does not come out of one or
both of the spouts.
The appliance will not make co ee
The appliance does not come on
The infuser cannot be extracted
At the end of descaling, the appliance
requests a third rinse
The milk does not come out of the
milk spout (D5)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The cups were not preheated.
The infuser has cooled down because
2/3 minutes have elapsed since the
last co ee was made.
A low co ee temperature is set.
The co ee is ground too coarsely.
The co ee is unsuitable.
The co ee is ground too nely.
The co ee spouts (A13) are blocked.
The appliance has detected impurities
in its internal circuits. "CLEANING UN-
DERWAY" is displayed.
It is not plugged into the mains socket. Plug into the mains socket ( g. 1).
The main switch (A19) is not turned
on.
The appliance has not been turned o
correctly
During the two rinse cycles, the water
tank (A12) has not been lled to the
MAX level
The lid (D2) of the milk container (D)
is dirty

REMEDY
Warm the cups by rinsing them with hot
water (Please note! you can use the hot water
function).
Before making the co ee, heat the infuser by
rinsing using the rinse function (see section
"Rinsing
").
Set a hotter co ee temperature in the menu (sec-
tion "Co ee temperature
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A17) one
click anticlockwise towards "1" while the co ee
mill is in operation ( g. 11). Continue one click
at a time until co ee delivery is satisfactory. The
e ect is only visible after delivering 2 co ees
(see section "Adjusting the co ee mill").
Use co ee for espresso machines.
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A17) one
click clockwise towards "7" while the co ee mill
is in operation ( g. 11). Continue one click at a
time until co ee delivery is satisfactory. The ef-
fect is only visible after delivering 2 co ees (see
section "Adjusting the co ee mill").
Clean the spouts ( g. 31).
Wait for the appliance to be ready for use again
and reselect the required beverage. Contact
Customer Services if the problem persists.
Press the main switch ( g. 2).
Turn the appliance o by pressing the
(A7) (see section "Turning the appliance o ").
Follow the instructions displayed by the appli-
ance, but rst empty the drip tray (A14) to avoid
the water over owing.
Clean the milk container lid as described in sec-
tion "Cleaning the milk container".
