Use SELECT to record the program at daily or

day of the week, every week, for example every

Recording mode (HQ, SP, LP, EP.)

If the cursor is on Date, press u (right cursor) to
move to Ch. (Channel).

Enter the channel number you want to record with
w/v (down or up cursor) or the digit buttons 0-9.
Enter channel numbers as a three digit number.
For example, for channel 12, press 0,1,2. A cross (X)
will appear if invalid information is entered.

If the cursor is on Ch. (Channel), press u (right
cursor) to move to Start.

Enter the Start time with w/v (down or up cursor)
or the digit buttons 0-9.
10 If the cursor is on the End time, press t (left
cursor) to move back to the Start time.
11 Press SELECT repeatedly to choose AM or PM.
12 Press u (right cursor) to move to the End time.
13 Enter the End time with w/v (down or up cursor)
or the digit buttons 0-9. Press SELECT repeatedly
to choose AM or PM.
14 If the cursor is on the End time, press u (right
cursor) to move to Record mode.
15 Select the recording mode with w/v (down or up
cursor.)
16 If you make a mistake, go back with t (left cursor)
and re-enter the information.
17 Confirm with OK.
When all information is correct, the data is
stored in a timer block.
18 To end, press TIMER.
19 Make sure you inserted a disc without erase
protection. If you inserted a disc with erase
protection, recording will not occur.
20 Switch off the Recorder by pressing ON/OFF or
B STANDBY/ON.

If a timer recording is incorrect

The following messages may appear in the timer menu
when you set a timer recording:
Collision
The Timer recording overlaps with another timer
recording.
Solution:
Ignore by pressing TIMER again. The program
with the earlier start time will record completely.
Then the remainder of the later program will
record.
Edit one or both timer recordings.
Delete one of the timer recordings.
Please enter channel number
The VCR Plus+ system does not recognize the TV
channel.
Solution
Select the required channel number with t/u
(left or right cursor.)
Press OK to confirm.
PlusCode wrong
You entered an incorrect PlusCode number.
Solution:
Enter the correct information or quit by pressing
TIMER.
