Damage caused by wrong voltage
If the power supply at the AMC is set to 24 V, the voltage will
rise on the bus line correspondingly. Readers that are not
suitable for this voltage will be damaged.

Keep in mind the cable length limitations and conditions of a
RS-485 bus system as described in RS-485 Host Interface, page
31.
