important
Use a liquid that'll steam, eg water, stock. Never use oil or fat instead or use
your appliance for deep frying.
Never cook anything that'll rise (eg dumplings) – it could block the safety
devices.
Hint: using boiling liquid helps the appliance reach the correct pressure faster.
3 Lock the lid on.
4 Turn the control dial to 'pressure'
5 Press 'pressure mode' once to select 'low' or twice to select 'high'.
6 Press 'cook time' to set a cooking time.
7 Press 'start'.
The orange pressure indicator will rise as the pressure builds.
The timer will start when the appliance reaches the correct pressure.
If the control dial gets blocked, steam and food may shoot up out of the safety
valves.
8 When the cooking time ends, the appliance will beep.
9 Remove the lid after the orange pressure indicator drops.
Release pressure slowly by allowing the unit to cool to room temperature (the
appliance will beep regularly as it cools).
Release pressure quickly by pressing the steam release button in short bursts
Steam will hiss out of the control dial.
See cooking guide for recommendations.
Only remove the lid after the orange pressure indicator has
dropped.

120 minutes, press the 'delay' start to set the time to '0.5', '1.0', '1.5', '2.0'.
