    Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller Commissioning When commissioning the TCB-TSC640-PY touch screen controller you can use the quick start method, or please refer to section 5. Setup. This commissioning method is used when more advanced building control is required. Quick Start The quick start commissioning option reduces the amount of time required to commissions the TCB-TSC640- PY Touch screen.

  • Page 11 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller 4. Select Autoscan Network Once the Autoscan has been initiated it will scan the whole TCC link for connected Indoor units. The Indoor units that are found will be automatically addressed. Please note that when completing an auto-scan it will clear all existing addressing information.

    Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller Setup Settings Settings Overview - The settings tab is used for a number of different features. These features are as follows.  Time & Date – This tab allows you to set the current date and time. It is also where you set up the first and last day of Summertime for schedule operations.
  • Page 14 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller  Name, Zones & Hierarchy The Name Zones & Hierarchy tab is used to create level names and zones. As shown in the image below you have up to 3 levels of control. The Unit Config Screen & hierarchy is used for the advanced setup procedure.
  • Page 15 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller To begin the commissioning first selects the type of unit. To do this, please press the section box in type column. This will take you to the screen showed below. You have the option to select from VRF type indoor units and LC indoor units.
  • Page 16 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller In the top left corner of the customise (indoor unit setup – Limits) screen you can press a blue arrow take you to the next customise screen. In this screen you can apply restrictions to what functions an indoor unit can control.
  • Page 17 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller In the Names Zones and Hierarchy tab there is also a Hierarchy select button. Once you have selected this button you will see the screen below. This screen is where you apply indoor units to the levels you have created.
  • Page 18 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller  GPIF Interlocks – Only applicable if at least 1 General Purpose Interface is installed. The purpose of the General Purpose Interface interlocks is for using inputs to trigger outputs such as External Lighting, Ventilation, Air Quality Sensor and Occupancy Control without the need of an external controller. Once you have pressed the GPIF interlock tab the screen below will be displayed.

  • Page 21 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller  Administrator – The administrator tab will allow you to do the following, Autoscan network, create passwords, factory reset, erase alarm history, display auto mode, Firestop enable/ Firestop invert input signal/ Firestop auto- restart. Firestop enable – Please select Firestop enable if fire alarm input is being used. Once selected a green tick will appear in the selection box.
  • Page 22 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller Autoscan The Autoscan will find all connected indoor units and as standard will scan for two PY gateways. If more than two PY gateways are being used you will need to manually enter the addressing information for the additional gateways.

This will clear all addressing information and all information you have entered to the settings tab. The screen below is to show the warning message that will appear once the factory rest has been selected.

The quick control screen has the following features. Master control screen The master control screen allows you to set the power status, mode status, fan status, temp status, louvre status and filter reset.

  • Page 29 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller 6.2 Schedule Schedule overview In the schedule tab, you can create up to 32 individual schedules. Each schedule can have up to 12 operations per day. This screen is displayed when schedule is selected from the Home Screen. From this screen you can access the schedule configuration screen by selecting one of the 32 Schedules.

(Some level of control is available using the global control commands) When the overview button is pressed on the home screen, it will take you to the screen displayed below.

To change the Fan speed etc., please select Icon number 4. below, this will take you to the control screen.
  • Page 33 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller Faults Faults Overview – In the faults tab, there are two separate screens. Screen 1 is for active alarms and screen 2 is for the alarm history. Active Alarms The active alarm screen is shown below. This screen will display all active alarms and the data and time that the alarm was raised.
  • Page 34 Owners Manual Touch Screen Controller Alarm History All alarms are displayed in the Alarm History screen. The Alarm history will display the last 2000 alarms. When the Alarm History log is full it will begin to overwrite the oldest alarms. The Alarm History screen will display the date and time that an alarm occurs and the data and time that it is cleared.
