V-Plow Mounting Kit

Note: The traction unit must be equipped with the
Attachment Frame Kit, Toro Part No. 110–8540 before
the V-Plow Mounting Kit can be installed.
1. Position the machine on a clean, level surface. Lower
any implement, stop the engine, apply the parking
brake and remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. To prevent the PTO shaft from rotating when the
V-plow is mounted, locate the electric clutch on the
engine crank shaft and unplug the connector from
the machine wire harness.

3. Loosely mount the PTO support plate to the rear
tube of the attachment frame with (2) U-bolts, (4)
.406 x .813 washers and (4) 5/16 inch locknuts,
positioning as shown in Figure 2.
Note: If a 60 inch Side Discharge Deck was
removed from the traction unit, mount the PTO
support plate to the attachment frame with the two
PTO mounting holes to the rear. The 60 inch side
discharge deck has a shorter PTO shaft.

4. Using the dimensions shown in Figure 3, locate the
PTO support plate on the attachment frame tube
and tighten the locknuts.
1. 1.00 inch
5. Secure the PTO shaft to the PTO support plate with
the (2) 5/16 x 2.00 in. capscrews and flange locknuts
(Figure 2).
6. Mount the R.H. lift arm to the right tube of the
attachment frame with (3) 7/16 x 3–1/2 inch screws,
(6) .469 x .922 flat washers and (3) 7/16 lock nuts
(Figure 4).
