Fast forward/fast reverse (SEARCH) (only by remote
control operation) (page 24)
1 Press the SEARCH MODE key once when a track is
being played back.
2 Press and hold down the ¢ or 4 key.
For forward search:
Keep pressing the ¢ key when a track is being played back.
For reverse search:
Keep pressing the 4 key when a track is being played back.
÷ When you lift your finger off the key, normal playback
will be resumed.
Group Search (only by remote control operation) (page 25)
1 Press the SEARCH MODE key once when a track is
not being played back.
Press the SEARCH MODE key twice when a track is
being played back.
2 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "GROUP 4/¢" is
being displayed to select the group.
÷ The groups change each time the ¢ or 4 key is
pressed and playback will start from the first track of the
selected group.
Menu Operations
Changing the illumination mode (only by remote
control operation) (page 27)
The nine LEDs on the player unit can be lit in one of the
five illumination modes including MELLOW, VIVID,
FAVORITE, ECO. and DEMO.
1 Press the MENU key once.
2 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "illumiMODE" is being
displayed to select the desired illumination mode.
The mode changes each time the ¢ or 4 key is pressed.
"DEMO": Demonstration mode
"OFF": Cancel the illumination mode

"MELLOW"
: The lighted LEDs are switched over at
slow intervals.

"VIVID"
: The lighted LEDs are switched over al fast
intervals.
"FAVORITE": The way the LEDs light during playback
can be selected from 20 pre-registered patterns. In
other modes than playback, the LEDs light in the same
way as the MELLOW illumination mode.
"ECO.": Power-saving illumination mode, in which the
LEDs do not light during playback, during stop and after
completion of recharging.

During playback, the LEDs light in randomly selected one
of 10 pre-registered patterns, which are changed every
time the track changes.
