Adjusting the contrast (only by remote control
operation) (page 41)
1 Press the MENU key for 2 or more consecutive seconds.
2 Press the MENU key 3 times when "DISPLAY" is being
displayed to select "CONTRAST".
3 Press the¢ or 4 key to adjust the contrast on the
remote control unit's display window.
÷ The contrast will be reduced when 4 is pressed, and
increased when ¢ is pressed.
Listening to music on the battery recharger stand's
speaker (page 42)
The speaker does not output sound unless the AC adapter is
connected to the battery recharger stand. The playback-related
operations are available using the keys on any of the main
unit, remote control unit and battery recharger stand.
1 Place the main unit on the battery recharger stand.
2 Press the 3/ 7 or 3/ ¢ key when the recharger indicator
stops flashing.
3 Press the VOLUME + or VOLUME – key to adjust the volume.
÷ When the unit is placed on the battery recharger stand, the sound
mode is set to the special mode for the battery recharger stand.
Setting the battery recharger stand clock (page 43)
1 Press the MODE key on the battery recharger stand for
2 or more consecutive seconds.
2 Press the TIME + or TIME - key to set the "Hours" and
then press the SET key.
3 Press the TIME + or TIME - key to set the "Minutes"
and then press the SET key.
Using the alarm (pages 43 to 45)
1 Press the MODE key on the battery recharger stand once.
2 Press the SET key.
3 Set the alarm time using the TIME + or TIME - key and SET key.
÷ Press the TIME + or TIME - key to set the "Hours" and
then press the SET key; press the TIME + or TIME - key
to set the "Minutes" and then press the SET key.
4 Press the TIME + or TIME - key and turn the alarm
setting on.
5 Press the MODE key 3 times and display the time.
÷ The battery recharger stand generates the alarm tone when
the set time comes. To turn the alarm off, press any key
on the battery recharger stand.
Setting the timer playback (pages 45 to 46)
1 Press the MODE key on the battery recharger stand
twice.
2 Press the SET key.
3 Set the timer playback time using the TIME + or TIME -
key and SET key.
÷ Press the TIME + or TIME - key to set the "Hours" and
then press the SET key; press the TIME + or TIME - key
to set the "Minutes" and then press the SET key.
4 Press the TIME + or TIME - key and turn the timer
playback setting on.
5 Press the MODE key twice and display the time.
÷ When the set time is reached, the main unit starts to
playback.
Using the sleep timer (pages 46 to 47)
1 Press the MODE key on the battery recharger stand 3 times.
2 Press the SET key.
3 Press the TIME + or TIME - key and set the time until
the unit stops. (To cancel the sleep timer, set to "00".)
4 Press the SET key.
5 Press the MODE key once and display the time.
