Selecting the desired illumination pattern (only by
remote control operation) (page 28)
When the FAVORITE illumination mode is selected, the way
the LED lights during playback can be selected from 20
pre-registered illumination patterns. Selecting the
illumination pattern during playback of an MiniDisc allows
you to select the desired pattern by confirming it visually.
1 Press the MENU key once.
2 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "illumiMODE" is being
displayed to select "FAVORITE".
1 Press the MENU key for 2 or more consecutive
seconds when "FAVORITE" is being displayed.
2 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "Pattern" is being
displayed to set the desired illumination pattern.

1 Press the MENU key twice.
2 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "SOUND MODE" is being
displayed to select the desired sound mode.
The mode changes each time the ¢ or 4 key is pressed.
"NORMAL": Cancel the sound mode.
"SoundEQ1"

"UserPreset": Set the sound of your liking.

The sound mode sets the sound quality selected with
"User Preset."
1 Press the MENU key twice.
Press the ¢ or 4 key when "SOUND MODE" is being
displayed to select "User Preset".
2 Press the MENU key for 2 or more consecutive seconds
when "User Preset" is being displayed.
3 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "BASS" is being displayed
to set the level of the bass tone.
4 Press the MENU key once when "BASS" is being
displayed.
5 Press the ¢ or 4 key when "TREBLE" is being
displayed to set the level of the treble tone.
