9 Move the brush away from your head while turning the brush.
The hair will be lifted and will fall lightly back onto the head.
Polishing and shaping
1 Use the bristle brush to polish and shape your hair.
Creating root lift
1 Place the brush in your hair in such a way that the bristles touch
your scalp.
2 Switch the appliance on by selecting setting I or II.
3 Starting at the front, brush backwards and forwards along the
centre parting (fig. 8).
Soft flowing hair
1 Lift the hair on the sides of your head at the roots and follow the
length of the hair with the styler.
This technique will tame stray ends and helps promote shine and
softness.
Cleaning
1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Put the appliance in a safe place and let it cool down.
3 Clean the appliance with a small brush or a dry cloth.
Storage
1 Unplug the appliance.
2 Make sure the appliance has cooled down sufficiently before
storing it.
3 Do not wind the mains cord round the appliance.
4 The appliance can be stored by hanging it from its hanging loop
(fig. 10).
