3.4.2 Test lawn coverage
The Test lawn coverage function is used to test if the
mower can follow the guide wires or the boundary
loop at the selected corridor width out from the
charging station.
Test lawn coverage can also be used to calculate
the distance from the charging station to a remote
area. The distance can then be indicated in the Lawn
coverage settings.
Test lawn coverage can only be used once the mower
has calibrated the guide wires. In other words, the
mower must have left the charging station on at least
one occasion, either in Auto mode or in connection
with the start-up sequence.
Measure the distance to a remote area
1.
Place the mower in the charging station.
2.
Enter a distance in Installation - Lawn
coverage - Area 1, 2 or 3 - How far?

the position along the guide wire or the
boundary loop you wish to test, e.g. on the
other side of a narrow passage.
Also enter How? (Only for Husqvarna
Automower® 310/315), select Right, Left
along the boundary loop, Guide.

wire at the maximum distance for the given
corridor width.
4.
Stop the robotic lawnmower at the required
position The distance is now shown in the
display. This figure can now be saved in
Area X > How far?.
5.

activate Test Lawn coverage again to check
that the distance indicated is correct and
that the mower can operate in the area.
