3. Examine the V-belt (A) for damages and wear.
Replace the V-belt if it is necessary.

4. Examine the tension of the V-belt.
5. If the tension is not sufficient, adjust the clutch wire
(B).
6. Examine the position of the V-belt in relation to the
pins (C).
7. Install the V-belt cover.
To set the product in maintenance
position
The maintenance position is used for all maintenance
procedures in the blade area below the product.
1. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
2. Tilt the product forward until it is stable on the
support frame.
CAUTION: Do not tilt the product in other
directions. Incorrect position of the product
can cause oil to go into the carburetor.

To lubricate the blade shafts
•
Push grease through the grease nipples until grease
comes out around the blade shafts.

1. Remove the screws and washers (A) that hold the
outer ring on the blade shafts.
