SOURCING OF ELECTRICAL SIGNALS

Menu Selections

Select a source range and select DIRECT from the menu. It puts you
right in the source mode. For other modes read section "Special
Source Functions". The lower part of the screen shows the window
for source functions. Here, you can read the source level labelled
with either SET or OUT.
Set mode
In the SET mode you change the source reading without changing
the actual source at the terminals. Once you press EXE, the source
will change to the new setting.
Source mode
In the SOURCE mode you change both the source reading and the
actual source at the terminals. Entering a new value through the
numerical key-pad brings you back into the SET mode.
Changing the source level
Use the and keys to ramp the source signal manually. Holding
the key down will gradually accelerate the adjustment speed.
Enter a new source value through the numerical key-pad and press
EXE to activate the signal at the source terminals. Entered values
outside the range will prompt the message OUTSIDE RANGE.
