Damit Sie den gewünschten Erfolg erzielen und recht lange Freude an Ihrem MEDISANA Infrarot-Fieberthermometer FTG haben, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die nachstehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.
  • Page 8 Uhrzeit geschehen, damit die Ergebnisse vergleichbar sind. Fieber messen - rasch und fehlerfrei! Mit dem MEDISANA Infrarot-Fieberthermometer FTG ist eine präziseberührungslose Messung (ca. 5 - 15 cm Abstand) der Körpertemperatur möglich. Die Messung wird über der Augen- braue, im Verlauf zwischen Stirn und Schläfe, vorgenommen.

    3 Anwendung 3.1 Inbetriebnahme Batterien entnehmen / einlegen Sollte nach einer gewissen Betriebsdauer  das Batteriewechselsymbol oder  gar nichts mehr in der LCD-Anzeige erscheinen, müssen 2 neue 1,5V-Batterien (Typ AA / LR6) eingesetzt werden. Entnehmen: Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel an der Riffelung nach unten und nehmen Sie den Deckel ab.
  • Page 10 Messung mit einem herkömmlichen Thermometer ein Ergebnis von 37°C, bei der folgenden Messung mit dem Infrarot-Fieberthermo- meter FTG jedoch ein Ergebnis von 36,4°C, so müssen Sie 0,6°C als Referenzwertverschiebung einstellen etc. Sind die beiden Er- gebnisse gleich, brauchen Sie keine Referenzwertverschiebung einstellen (0,0°C).
  • Page 11 3 Anwendung  Drücken Sie erneut auf die SET-Taste . Nun erscheint kurz "F4" und dann der Status (ON = An oder OFF = Aus) der akustischen Signalisierung. Soll bei Erreichen eines unter "F2" eingestellten Fieberalarms ein akustischer Alarm erfolgen, muss die akustische Signalisierung eingeschaltet (ON) sein.
  • Page 12 3 Anwendung HINWEISE, um genaue Messergebnisse zu erhalten: (Fortsetzung) • In folgenden Fällen ist eine Kontrollmessung mit einem herkömmlichen Fieberthermometer empfehlenswert: 1. Wenn das Messergebnis überraschend niedrig ist, 2. Bei Neugeborenen innerhalb der ersten 100 Tage, 3. Bei Kindern unter drei Jahren, die ein gefährdetes Immunsystem haben oder bei Auftreten bzw.

    3 Operation 3.1 Getting started Removing / inserting batteries  If the battery exchange symbol  nothing appears in the LCD display after a certain period of use, you must replace the batteries with two new 1.5V-batteries (type AA / LR6). Removal: Slide the lid of the battery compartment cover downwards and take the cover off.
