USB-Based Synchronization
The U526 phone supports the synchronization requests from a PC to your phone.
With the USB cable and the HUAWEI U526 MOBILE PHONE PC Assistant coming with
your phone, your phone can communicate with a computer. You can backup and edit the
contact entries and messages saved on your phone and the USIM card on a computer. You
can also synchronize contacts, schedule events and To Do tasks between your phone and the
Outlook or the Outlook Express.
Follow these steps to operate the USB-based synchronization with your U526 phone.
Step

Install the HUAWEI U526 MOBILE PHONE PC Assistant coming with your
phone: Insert the disk and select "Install PC Assistant" and "Instruction to
install driver". Then click Continue and follow the guide to complete the
installation.

Access the main menu screen, and select Settings > Connect > Modem setup
and set the port to USB modem.

Connect your phone and PC with the USB cable.

Run the application program of the HUAWEI U526 MOBILE PHONE PC
Assistant on the PC.

Now you can operate the synchronization.
