Trouble Shooting (BKNE-1010/1011)

4-1. Self Diagnostics Mode

BKNE-1010/1011 has the self diagnostics mode of the
following nine items.
1. Test of RAM (BKNE-1010)
The internal RAM (512 bytes) of the CPU in BKNE-1010
and external RAM (32K bytes) of the CPU in BKNE-1010
are confirmed the memory operation.
2. Test of LED
This test is confirmed to light all LEDs on the control
panel.
3. Test of MODE switch and DC-IN (6 V) (BKNE-1010)
* * * * * For adjustment during manufacturing
This test is confirmed to operate the audio fader Ref.
voltage selection mode by "MODE" switch and "DC IN (6
V)" on the rear panel of BKNE-1010.
4. Test of Communication (BKNE-1010)
* * * * * For adjustment during manufacturing
This test is carried out the loop back check and is con-
firmed the communication operation for the RS-422A and
RS-232C of "EDITOR" connectors.
5. Test of Switch (BKNE-1010)
This test is confirmed to operate the push button switches
on BKNE-1010.
6. Test of Search Dial (BKNE-1010)
This test is confirmed to operate the search dial of BKNE-
1010.
7. Test of Video Faders (BKNE-1011)
This test is confirmed to operate the video fader of BKNE-
1011.
8. Test of Audio Faders (BKNE-1011)
This test is confirmed to operate the audio fader of BKNE-
1011.
9. Test of Knobs (BKNE-1011)
This test is confirmed to operate the knob of BKNE-1011.
