Applicable CPU Modules

The following table shows the availability of the RJ71PN93 when each CPU module or remote head module is used.
The CPU modules and remote head modules are indicated by symbols as follows.
• Rn: RnCPU
• RnEN: RnENCPU
• RnP(P): Process CPU (process mode)
• RnP(R)(M): Process CPU (redundant mode) (main base unit)
• RnP(R)(E): Process CPU (redundant mode) (extension base unit in the redundant system
with redundant extension base unit)
• RnMT: Motion CPU
• RnNC: NCCPU

*1 When the refresh target of "IO Data Send Area" and "IO Data Receive Area" under "Refresh Settings" is set, use the following firmware
version of the CPU module. Failure to do so results in a parameter error (error code: 2200H).

RnSF: 14 or later

The number of mountable RJ71PN93s depends on the specifications of the CPU module used.

Precautions
For the RnP(R)(M), RnP(R)(E), RnMT, RnNC, RnRT, RnC, RnPSF, Rem, and Rem(R), an error cannot be detected in the
following cases.
• When the RJ71PN93s are mounted with unsupported CPU modules and remote head modules
• When the number of mountable RJ71PN93s is exceeded
Multiple CPU system
The RJ71PN93 supports the multiple CPU system. For details on the multiple CPU system, refer to the following.
