Take the first air regulator.
Check whether the air regulator requires manual pre-cleaning, e.g.
to remove soot, and carry this out in line with the manufacturer's in-
structions.
Dismantle the air regulator in line with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
Place the small parts in a compartment in a small-part basket.
Do not position small parts in such a way that they will collect wa-
ter. For example, insert rubber covers with the curved hollow side
facing down.
The quick-release couplings on the APFD 200 insert are fitted with
protective caps. The protective caps prevent wash water from col-
lecting in the couplings.
If wash water collects in the quick-release couplings, then the pres-
sure can force this into the air regulator when it is connected.
Unused quick-release couplings must therefore always be sealed
with protective caps.
Remove the protective cap from a quick-release coupling for repro-
cessing.
