Receiving calls

When you receive a call, the telephone will
emit a warning tone with the melody and
the volume selected. To answer the call, lift
the handset or press the HANDS-FREE key
to activate hands-free talking.

Dialing numbers

Using the numeric keypad to make a call

Lift the handset or press the HANDS-
or
FREE key and wait for the dial tone
Dial the desired number using the
:
numeric keypad
When you dial, the individual digits of the
number dialed will appear on the display
(item 13 on page 2) and the call will be
initiated. If the dialed number has been
stored in the phonebook, the display will
show the name associated with this number
(item 14 on page 2).
After a few seconds, the display will no
longer show the number dialed but the call
timer in MM:SS (minutes and seconds)
format.

Using the phonebook to make a call

Lift the handset or press the HANDS-
or
FREE key and wait for the dial tone
Press the PHONE BOOK key
Use the ARROW keys to select the
or
desired entry or use the numeric
keypad (see Consulting the
:
phonebook on page 9)
Press the DIAL key

Using the memories to make a call

Lift the handset or press the HANDS-
or
FREE key and wait for the dial tone
Select the desired memory (item 12 on
page 2)

Using the REDIAL key

Lift the handset or press the HANDS-
or
FREE key and wait for the dial tone
Press the REDIAL key
Note:
If the last number dialed contains more
than 32 digits, the REDIAL function will not
work properly.
