Do not dispose of the batteries or the device with normal
household refuse. Contact your local council to find out
about environmentally friendly and proper disposal of the
device (as electrical scrap). observe the applicable local and national
disposal regulations with regard to separation of materials, waste
collection and recycling centres.
The packaging is wholly composed of environmentally
friendly materials that can be disposed of at a local
recycling centre.
The following parts should be disposed of separately:

Rechargeable batteries
Take these parts for recycling.

Removing the batteries

m CAUTION! Do not operate a hair and beard clippers that has
been taken apart! Do not short-circuit the dismantled rechargeable
batteries; they could be very hot if they are still live! This is how you
take the device apart so that it can be disposed of in an environmen-
tally friendly way:

Disconnect the cable from the hair and beard clippers.

Completely discharge the rechargeable batteries by allowing the
switched-on hair and beard clippers to come to a complete stand-
still without it being connected to the adapter cable.
