Installation Brackets
LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes)
When you install the filer in an equip-
ment rack, you attach its installation
brackets to the front rails of the rack.
A right-angle mounting bracket running
the length of each side of the filer chas-
sis rests on similar brackets mounted
inside each side of the rack cabinet.
The LEDs on the front panel report sys-
tem status and network activity. A
glance at these LEDs lets you know
right away whether the filer requires
troubleshooting.
The LEDs are described in the section,
"LEDs on the front and back panel," in
Chapter 3.
