Emergency Voice Alarm; Emergency Live Announcement; Lock & Unlock - Honeywell INTEVIO User Manual

Note:

All non-emergency functions will be disabled automatically when the system is working in
emergency mode. The volume of the CH1/CH2 output will be changed to the default value
which is configured.

The emergency button of the RK-MCU or each RK-MIC can be enabled or disabled via the
configuration tool.

In manual emergency mode, the system will continue emergency broadcast, but not respond
to the fire alarm signal.

Emergency Voice Alarm

If users want to start emergency voice alarm manually, please follow the steps below:
1． Press the emergency button to enter manual emergency mode.
2． Press zone buttons to select target zones.
3． Press the button which is configured with the emergency task to broadcast emergency voice
messages.

Emergency Live Announcement

If users want to start emergency live announcement via the PTT microphone of the RK-MCU, please
follow the steps below:
1． Press the emergency button to enter manual emergency mode.
2． Press zone buttons to select target zones.
3． Pick up the PTT microphone and press the side button to enable live announcement.
4． Release the button to stop.
If users want to start emergency paging via the microphone of the RK-MIC, please follow the steps
below:
1． Press the emergency button to enter manual emergency mode.
2． Press zone buttons to select target zones.
3． Press the "Microphone" button on the RK-MIC to enable live announcement. The indicator turns
red and flashes, which shows it is playing the pre-signal or chime. While paging, the indicator
lights up red constantly.
4． Press the "Microphone" button again to stop paging. The indicator goes out.
Lock & Unlock
If "Key Lock" function of the RK-MIC is enabled, the programmable keys 6, 7, 8 will be used to lock
or unlock the device. Follow the steps below to lock the device:
1． Press key 7; the indicator will be off.
2． Then press key 6 and key 8 simultaneously; their indicators will be off.
3． Release all keys; the keys of the RK-MIC are locked.
Follow below steps to unlock the device:
1． Press key 7; the indicator will light up.
2． Press key 6 and key 8 simultaneously; their indicators will light up.
3． Release all keys; the keys of the RK-MIC are unlocked.
