Caution! Risk of cuts! The
adapters and stem extension
supplied could have sharp edges.
▸ Smoothen any burrs at the breakout
points of the adapter used with the
aid of an appropriate tool.
The notches (13) ensure the adapter (14) fits perfectly.
1.
If required, slide the adapter (14) that fits the
radiator valve onto the radiator valve until the
adapter (14) snaps into place.
If necessary, use a screwdriver to slightly prise open the
adapter (14) in the area of the screw.
2.
Fix the corresponding adapter (14) with the screw
and nut supplied (see Fig. B and Fig. C on the fold-
out page).
In the case of the RAV valve, the stem extension (15) must
also be mounted on the valve pin (see Fig. B on the fold-
out page).
3.
Use the union nut (1) to assemble the device onto the
adapter (14) or directly onto the radiator valve.
4.
Press the Rotary knob (9). The adaptation starts
automatically.
The device adapts to the radiator valve. To do this, the
radiator valve is opened and closed several times so that
the device learns the respective end points. This process
may take a few minutes.
Several adaptation cycles may be necessary before the
radiator valve is detected correctly, depending on the
condition of the valve.
If the adaptation does not work, even after several at-
tempts, assemble the device again using a spacing ring.
